NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A woman was shot inside her East Nashville home around 8 pm Sunday.

Police are investigating the 3033 Hillside Road incident. They report that a suspect showed up at the victim’s house and began shooting from the outside. The victim, who knows the suspect, was shot in the leg. She has been taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The victim left the scene.
