Due to the increasing number of cancelled or postponed industry events, SSI has created a quick list of each event affected by the coronavirus crisis.

ISC West may have been the first big security industry event in North America to be derailed by the coronavirus crisis, but many such conferences and association conventions of all sizes have been and continue to be postponed or cancelled outright.

With all the disruption to the 2020 industry calendar, SSI created a quick list of events that have been cancelled, postponed or are taking place as originally scheduled. Also included are events geared for integrators that ply the pro A/V and consumer electronics (CE) industries. The list will be updated continually. PRO A/V & CE INDUSTRIES UPDATE

Many stakeholders following the goings-on in the commercial A/V and consumer electronics (CE) industries might be wondering about the annual CEDIA Expo show. Emerald, owner of CEDIA Expo as well as SSI, has posted on the custom integration tradeshow’s website its status update about the coronavirus situation, with no changes to report as of March 19.

Here is the COVID-19 update:

With the ongoing coverage surrounding the coronavirus outbreak and its potential effects, it is CEDIA Expo and Emerald’s top priority to keep our community safe and informed. With CEDIA Expo 2020 more than 5 months away, we do not foresee any changes at this time. We are actively planning the upcoming show for September 8-12 in Denver, CO.

The CEDIA Expo team is monitoring the situation daily and following the guidelines set-forth by our federal and local government and health agencies and are in close, on-going contact with local Denver authorities. In addition, we are implementing control measures and best practices recommended by the CDC and local health officials around the show and on-site. Our focus is to keep attendees, exhibitors and the home technology community updated regularly.

Please reach out to our team with any questions.
