NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville Mayor John Cooper said the city will begin Phase 3 of its reopening process on Monday.
Cooper made the announcement Thursday during his COVID-19 update. Watch below:
Under Phase 3, all residents should still wear face masks or coverings at all times when not at home. Retail stores and commercial businesses may continue to operate at 3/4 capacity, and employees must be screened daily and wear masks.
Gyms and high-touch/close contact businesses, like hair and nail salons, may continue to operate at 1/2 capacity. Restaurants may continue to offer dine-in at 3/4 capacity, while bars can open at half-capacity.
Event space venues and small music venues must cap attendance and crowd size to 1/2 capacity, or 250 people, depending on venue capacity.
Camps, including day and overnight family camps, can operate at full capacity as long as social distancing can be maintained at all times.
Residents 65 and older and those with underlying health conditions should stay home. Those who can work from home should continue doing so.
