East Nashville’s Tenn Sixteen closing for good, owners to focus on other opportunities  Tennessean

East Nashville restaurant Tenn Sixteen Food & Drink Company will close its doors this week, the Five Points establishment announced Monday.

“It has been a blast but it is time to say goodbye. Thanks for supporting us and allowing us to serve you,” the owners said on Facebook. “We are very grateful to all our wonderful employees and to you, our amazing customers. We will miss you.”

The owners of the restaurant and upstairs bar, who also own 3 Crow Bar and Red Door Saloon, said they have “decided to shift their focus to other business opportunities.” Tenn 16 opened in 2013 next to 3 Crow, serving Southern food with Cajun and Creole leanings.

Tenn 16 is closing for good, the owners said.

“Until we meet again, be well and take care of each other,” they said in the post.

A call to the restaurant went unanswered Monday afternoon.
