The Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department announced June 24 it will add new amenities to the county’s Indoor Sports Complex, located at 920 Heritage Way, Brentwood,

The expansion will include a 2,200 square-foot group fitness studio, which will feature equipment and offer a number of fitness classes, such as dance, cardio, cycle and strength training courses, according to a release from WCPR.

The new studio is slated to open June 29, and residents can register for classes at www.wcparksandrec.com.

The department will also add four new outdoor pickleball courts at the facility, doubling its current number. The new courts are slated to be available beginning in mid-July.

WCPR also announced additional features will be added to the facility later this year, including a splash pad—to be built in partnership with the city of Brentwood—and a full gymnasium. The splash pad is expected to be added later this summer, and the gymnasium is slated for the fall, according to WCPR. Specific opening dates are expected to be announced in the future.
