Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 3,308 as of Aug. 4, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health. This marks an increase of 39 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update Aug. 3.
There are now 1,250 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 37 since yesterday.
Williamson County Schools remains in the “medium” spread scenario, with 0.54% of the county population currently infected with the virus, according to the district’s framework.
Statewide, 1,805 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, as have 25 deaths. More than 73,000 individuals are estimated to have recovered from the virus to date.
More than 1.29 million coronavirus tests have been performed in the state, including more than 18,000 reported in the last 24 hours, according to the TDH.
