Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is scheduled to speak before the American Association of Christian Counselors conference in Nashville on Friday morning.
The speech, scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CDT, will be livestreamed here.
Pompeo’s speech comes hours after the Washington Post reported that one of his senior advisers had resigned.
The Post reported Thursday evening that Michael McKinley resigned “amid rising dissatisfaction and plummeting morale inside the State Department.”
The resignation was linked to “Pompeo’s failure to support personnel ensnared in the Ukraine controversy,” the Post reported.
