Two injured in drive-by shooting in East Nashville – NewsChannel5.com

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police investigated a drive-by shooting that left two people injured late Sunday night.

Investigators said people were gathered for party at a house on Wesley Avenue in East Nashville at about 11:00p.m. Sunday when two vehicles pulled up outside the home and passengers began shooting.

After firing the shots, police said the two vehicles left the scene.

Two men were struck by the gunfire, according to police. Both were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and were expected to be alright.

Officers said they have little information about the shooting or a motive due to lack of cooperation with the victims and witnesses.
