Two arrested, third sought after nine cars stolen in Hendersonville  NewsChannel5.com

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two men have been arrested, while a third is sought, after nine cars were stolen in Hendersonville, Hendersonville police said.

Officers responded to reports of vehicle burglaries in the Lawson Pointe subdivision around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. A total of nine car burglaries and three attempted burglaries had been reported in the area.

Hendersonville police recovered a stolen white Ford Explorer from Mount Juliet in the area. They also identified and later recovered a stolen white Ford Fusion from Sumner County in Nashville.

Officers’ investigation into the thefts resulted in the identification of 20-year-old David Coons Jr., 19-year-old Jevon Jenkins and 20-year-old Keshon Jenkins – all from Nashville – as the people responsible.

Coons and Jevon Jenkins have been arrested. They are charged with nine counts of burglary, three counts of attempted burglary, counts of theft under $1,000 and one count of theft over $2,500.

Keshon Jenkins has not yet been arrested. Hendersonville police are asking for assistance in finding him. Anyone who may have information is asked to call them at (615) 264-5303 or Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at (615) 573-5400.
