Deputy cleared of wrongdoing in Williamson Co. shooting.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a Williamson County deputy, who shot a suspect after a pursuit in August, followed policy and is cleared of any wrongdoing.
The shooting happened on August 14 after a suspect, identified as Espior Sibomana, led authorities on a cross-county chase that began in Rutherford County.
The TBI says Deputy Daniel Soto shot Sibomana in the leg after he pulled a gun on him. The agency says Sibomana refused to surrender and ran into a wooded area after he was shot.

Deputies captured him after a 45-minute search.
Sibomana has been charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest, reckless endangerment, speeding and failure to exercise due care. He remains in jail in Williamson County on $520,000 bond.
