Officers arrested Oboh and 20-year-old Hayley Spurlock. They searched the home and found seven pounds of marijuana in a car parked outside, 19 pounds of marijuana inside the home along with a stolen 9 millimeter pistol (found in Spurlock’s bedroom) and $66,000 cash.

Spurlock was charged with harboring Oboh, possession of marijuana for resale, gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of the gun.

Oboh is also facing a felony marijuana charge in addition to one count of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated assault in relation to the shooting.

The shooting happened on Sept. 27 outside the Egyptian-Latino Tobacco Market on Millwood Drive. Police said Oboh was involved in a physicla fight with a 19-year-old man outside the market before the shooting.

Investigators later released surveillance photos and said Oboh had been identified as the suspect. Police issued arrest warrants charging him with one count of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Officials say Oboh’s intended victim was not initially hit, but two innocent bystanders – women ages 53 and 20 – were wounded.

Oboh then allegedly fired shots at the man he’d fought with, hitting him and a third innocent bystander.

All the victims are expected to recover. Oboh is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
