NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man convicted of three murders in 2018 was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

In October, Queshan Brooks pleaded guilty to the murder of 5-year-old Samaii, 8-year-old Sam’marie Daniel, 70-year-old Robert Payne nearly two years after the crime. He was 24-years-old at the time. The plea hearing

On Thursday, Criminal Court Judge Steve Dozier sentenced Brooks to the three back-to-back life sentences without parole, plus an additional 80 years.

The District Attorney’s office called the case one of the most horrific acts of domestic violence to ever take place in Nashville. In January 2018, Brooks shot and killed both girls then shot and killed Payne during a carjacking shortly after.

The October plea hearing became emotional for family members as they had to relive that terrible day.
