NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — More than 100 volunteers, along with Metro Police officers and other officials, searched throughout the day Sunday for Wallace Carter, 67.

Police say he was hiking at Beaman Park in North Nashville Saturday but never returned home.

The ground search stopped for the day around 6 p.m., while Metro Police continue to search using a drone. The full search will resume Monday morning at 8 a.m.

Carter’s cell phone was found inside his locked car Saturday night.
