Police say they’re looking for two suspects who robbed one person and then carjacked and shot another at a West Nashville apartment complex.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they’re looking for two suspects who robbed one person and then carjacked and shot another at a West Nashville apartment complex.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at the Cumberland Retreat Apartments on Annex Avenue.
Metro police say the first victim was robbed in the laundry room and the gunmen got away with his cell phone and wallet.
Outside, they robbed another person of their belongings and car. Police say that victim was also shot in the arm. He’s expected to be okay.
Detectives don’t have much of a description of the two gunmen. They did look for surveillance video, but it’s unclear if any was found.
Metro Police report that crime has been down 40% in the West Precinct.
