One person died and a second was injured in a shooting in Hermitage late Tuesday night.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting in Hermitage late Tuesday night.
Metro Police officers were called to the scene at a home on the 4500 block of Brooke Valley Drive at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, a man died from his injuries. A woman was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is stable, with injuries described as non-critical.
Investigators said there are no suspects right now. They added that the only witness to what happened is the woman who was injured. Detectives are waiting to interview her.
