NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It may not feel like the first of October outside but we’re getting in the fall spirit anyway. Here’s five things to do this weekend in Middle Tennessee!
Fall Fest at the Hermitage – Hermitage
Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6
Looking for a free, fall festival for the whole family? Head on out to the Hermitage. The Fall Fest kicks off at 10 a.m. on both days. There will be art, music and history.

Nashville Cultural Festival – Nashville
Saturday, October 5
This Saturday, you can experience some of the cultural diversity that makes Nashville great. The Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival is free and features a “variety of dance and musical performances on different stages, food vendors offering authentic and exotic tastes from around the world.” There will also be actives for kids and teens. The festival is from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Halloween at Hogwarts with the Nashville Symphony – Nashville
Saturday, October 5
The Nashville Symphony is taking you aboard the Hogwarts Express! The symphony is performing the score from the Harry Potter films at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to show up as their favorite wizards, witches (or muggles). Show up early for pre-concert activities.

Nashtober Fest – Nashville
Saturday, October 5
October means Oktoberfests – unless you’re in Nashville and it’s Nashtober. At Saturday’s event at Richland Park, you can expect beer, brats and bikes. Tickets are free unless you want VIP access (that will cost you $60).
Candlelight Cemetery Tour – Gallatin
Saturday, October 5
We’re capping off our first “spooky weekend” with a tour of the Gallatin Cemetery. Money raised will go towards the Sumner County Museum, which is moving to another location . Tickets are $15 day-of and $12 in advance.
