NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Temperatures have finally cooled down and fall is in full swing in Middle Tennessee. Here are five things to do to celebrate the weekend!

CMT Crossroads: Halsey & Kelsea Ballerini – Nashville
Friday

Popstar Halsey and country star Kelsea Ballerini will perform together at Ascend Amphitheatre for the taping of the 70th episode of CMT’s series “CMT Crossroads.” The taping is open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. The show will air on CMT in early 2020.

Nashville Oktoberfest – Germantown
Thursday – Sunday

The 40th annual festival will take over ten city blocks across Germantown. In 2018, over 300,000 people attended the weekend festival. The event will be full of German foods and beers, arts and crafts vendors, live music and more. Catch the annual Dachshund Derby on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Ford Ice Center Bellevue Grand Opening

Join in on the fun at the Ford Ice Center Grand Opening Celebration. Saturday’s event will be full of free food, free public skate, giveaways, kids activities and a Predators watch party.
If you or your child participates in one of the center’s hockey or skating programs be sure to wear your team jersey or Scott Hamilton Skating apparel.
The event begins at 2 p.m. in the parking lot outside the Ford Ice Center at One Bellevue Place with children’s activities and Predators’ mascot Gnash.

Exit 111 Festival – Manchester
Friday – Sunday

Ready to rock? The inaugural Exit 111 Festival kicks off on Friday and lasts through the weekend at Great Stage Park. Performances include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, ZZ Top and Deftones. One-day and three-day passes can still be purchased.

41st Annual Fall Tennessee Craft Fair – Nashville
Friday – Sunday

About 50,000 people are expected to attend the annual craft fair held at Centennial Park’s lower lawn this weekend. The event is free and open to the public. Get ready for the holiday season by shopping from over 200 artists showcasing their work.
