Nashville police identify man shot, killed in early Saturday morning shooting in Buena Vista area – Tennessean
Police have identified a man fatally shot early Saturday morning in Nashville’s Buena Vista area.
Isaac Davis, 48, was shot and killed after a gunman — possibly more than one — opened fire on his vehicle on the 1500 block of Delta Avenue around 1:25 a.m.
Police say Davis was dropping off a female friend at her residence when shots were fired. He suffered a head wound and later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Davis’ friend suffered a non-life threatening leg wound.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
