Police say a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in West Nashville is in custody after an overnight standoff.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in West Nashville is in custody after an overnight standoff.
The standoff ended early Monday morning on Long Hunter Lane in the Nashboro Village area. Metro police have not identified the suspect.
Officers first responded to a shooting call around 8 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex on Maudina Avenue. Investigators said a man was shot and rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The victim later died of his injuries
This homicide is Nashville’s 41st of the year.
