More than 20 shots fired during fight at Nashville apartments – NewsChannel5.com

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say no one was hurt after more than a dozen shots were fired outside an apartment complex in Nashville.

The incident happened late Monday night outside the Newport Apartments on Murfreesboro Pike. Metro Nashville police say a group of men were arguing outside when at some point, they started shooting.

Several rounds hit the building and at least one car. There were at least 24 evidence markers on the ground.

After the shooting, everyone outside scattered.

The unit that was hit was occupied at the time, but no one was injured.
