Deadly stabbing investigation underway in North Nashville – NewsChannel5.com

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 53-year-old man was found suffering from stab wounds in front of a North Nashville apartment complex.

Police said Herbert Chatman was found by officers lying in the grass near the entrance to his 17th Avenue N. apartment around 4 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

Witnesses told police he was seen in an argument before the stabbing.
