SunSport told you how the Danish golfer, 29, allegedly went on a tirade before molesting a woman on a British Airways flight.
A European Tour spokesman told TV 2 Sport: “Thorbjorn Olesen has been suspended from the European Tour until the outcome of the trial.
“As it remains a pending case, we currently have no further comment.”
Olesen, who will appear in court on August 21, is accused of urinating in the first-class aisle and has been charged with sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft and common assault.
Ian Poulter, 43, tried to step in to calm down Olesen, after he allegedly hurled abuse at passengers and crew.
But Olesen is alleged to have then molested the woman while Poulter slept.
Cops were waiting to meet the BA flight from Nashville, Tennessee, when it landed at Heathrow on Monday.
A witness said of Olesen: “He started abusing some of the passengers and crew and then made a pass at one of the female passengers before taking a leak in the aisle.
“It was shocking behaviour. You would expect it maybe on a budget airline but not in the first-class cabin on BA.”
Olesen and Poulter had been playing in the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational at Memphis the week before last.
Olesen, who lives in London, finished a disappointing 27th and tweeted: “Now for some time off and practice to get things right.”
Poulter’s agent Paul Dunkley said the English golfer had helped calm down a “slightly intoxicated” passenger.
He added: “He then went to sleep and the first he knew of anything else was when the police were waiting at Heathrow.”
Olesen was taking into custody and subsequently released under investigation.
Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “A man has been charged in connection with an incident on an inbound flight to Heathrow Airport on Monday, 29 July.
