Man with critical injuries after hit by car in Midtown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are investigating a possible DUI after a man suffered critical injuries when hit by a car in Midtown.
Officials say the victim was crossing the 1800 block of Division Street when a female driver ran into him. He was not in a crosswalk.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver showed signs of being impaired. She is currently being detained and officers are conducting a DUI investigation.
