NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot and killed while attending a party on the Fourth of July in Nashville, Metro police said.
According to police, 34-year-old Maurice Bowers was in a house on Phipps Drive when someone began firing into a crowd. Bowers was hit and taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle where he later died.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
