25 Nashville area high school volleyball players to watch in 2019 – The Tennessean
The high school volleyball season is underway.
Here are 25 players to track this season.
Jillian Amsler, Franklin, Sr. Amsler has a team-high 116 kills with 80 digs and 22 aces this season.
Madison Bidwell, Ravenwood, Sr. Bidwell, a Lindsey Wilson commitment, has 62 kills and 68 digs this season.
Kendall Bixby, Father Ryan, Sr. Bixby, a middle hitter, started the season with 57 kills and eight blocks for the Lady Irish.
Sophia Bossong, Siegel, Sr. Bossong, a Chattanooga commitment, had 1,327 assists and 239 digs a year ago to help Siegel finish Class AAA state runner-up for the first time in school history. She has surpassed 4,000 assists for her career.
Reagan Bratton, Station Camp, Sr. Bratton, a Lee University commitment, had 1,079 assists with 89 aces and 160 digs for the Lady Bison.
Nicole Brill, Wilson Central, Sr. Brill has 48 kills and 11 aces thus far this season.
Destiny Cherry, Summit, Jr. Cherry, an outside hitter and Butler commitment, leads the Lady Spartans.
Carly Cooper, Ravenwood, Sr. Cooper had 620 assists and 36 aces a year ago.
Shaye Eggleston, Brentwood, Jr. Eggleston, an Alabama commitment, had 675 kills a year ago with 382 digs and 60 aces to help lead Brentwood to the Class AAA state championship.
Lucy Green, Father Ryan, Jr. Green, an outside hitter, has 74 kills, 54 digs and 11 blocks thus far this season.
Ellie Heflin, Franklin, Jr. Heflin has 88 kills and 31 aces to start the season.
Marilee Hulse, Father Ryan, Jr. Hulse has 279 assists and 82 digs this season.
Rylie Kael, Brentwood, Jr. Kael has 77 kills, 19 blocks and 14 aces this season.
Maggie Keenan, Lipscomb Academy, Sr. Keenan, an Austin Peay commitment, had 351 kills and 62 blocks with 60 aces a year ago for the Lady Mustangs.
Ashllyn King, Blackman, Jr. King had 321 kills with 73 aces and 183 digs a year ago.
Lily Martin, Ensworth, Sr. Martin, an Emory commitment and an outside hitter, leads the Lady Tigers.
Dylan Mott, Hendersonville, Sr. Mott had 344 kills and 56 aces in 2018.
Mary Oldham, Brentwood, Jr. Oldham had 339 kills and 59 total blocks as a sophomore.
Davey Slaughter, Mt. Juliet Christian, So. Slaughter had 521 digs, 204 kills and 36 aces as a freshman. She set a school record with 28 kills in a match earlier this year.
Camille Spencer, Ravenwood, Sr. Spencer, a Duquesne commitment, missed a big portion of the 2018 season with a back injury. She has 156 kills and 81 digs this season.
Sirenity Thompson, West Creek, Sr. The middle hitter had 150 kills and 82 blocks as a junior.
Karly Weathers, Loretto, So. Weathers had 263 kills with 40 aces as a freshman.
Amanda Webb, Page, Jr. Webb had 284 kills with 39 blocks and 29 aces last season.
Claire Wilson, Harpeth Hall, Jr. Wilson, a South Carolina commitment, averaged 4.5 assists and 2 kills a set last year.
Jamison White, Harpeth Hall, Sr. The New Hampshire commitment averaged 5.2 assists and 2 kills a set a year ago.
