Two people have died after a crash in the Donelson area Sunday morning.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two people have died after a crash in the Donelson area Sunday morning.
Police said four people were in a car that was speeding on Donelson Pike when the driver lost control and hit a tree around 4 a.m.
The driver and front seat passenger were killed before police arrived on scene.
Another passenger in the car was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Police said the fourth passenger ran from the scene. Officers are searching for that person.
Donelson Pike was shut down for hours on Sunday morning as police worked to clear the scene.
It is not yet known if drugs and alcohol played a factor in the crash.
