SALEM, Ind. – Champion Racing Ass’n powered by JEGS officials officially released the 2020 schedule for the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS on Thursday morning.

The 2020 ARCA/CRA Super Series season will consist of 14 total races, with 11 of those being point events. It will be the 24th season of competition for the template super late model touring series that first raced in 1997.

“We are really excited about the 2020 schedule with the ARCA/CRA Super Series,” said R.J. Scott, managing partner of CRA. “Our 24th season will provide our drivers with a great variety of challenging races on some of the best race tracks in the nation, with some of the most prestigious late model events in the country.”

CRA will continue the Chase for the Championship format for determining a series champion for the 2020 season. The playoff format has produced more teams competing for a championship in every CRA division since CRA started using that format in 2017.

The 2020 racing season kicks off with the traditional non-points opener for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour with CRA SpeedFest 2020 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Ga. on Jan. 24-25.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series race will be a 200-lap event, counting yellow flag laps up to lap 175. This event has traditionally attracted the best super late model drivers from both the North and the South in this early season battle.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series will then kick off its 2020-point season on April 18 at Anderson Speedway, located in Anderson, Ind., with a 125-lap event, the first of two events on the quarter-mile oval that has hosted more series events than any other track.

The series will then head to the famous Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tenn., for a 100-lap event on May 3. The event will be a co-sanctioned event with the Southern Super Series and the CARS Tour and the program will include a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event.

The series will then head to Bristol Motor Speedway as part of the fourth annual Short Track U.S. Nationals, an event that will be co-sanctioned by the Southern Super Series and the CARS Tour on May 30. The event will be a 100 lap, $10,000 to win event again in 2020.

On June 8, the series will head to Berlin Raceway, in Marne, Mich., for the $20,000-to-win Money in the Bank 150. This will be a non-points, CRA-sanctioned event again in 2020.

The series stays in Michigan for its next event at Flat Rock Speedway on June 20, followed by a visit to Jennerstown Speedway for the first time and the first series event in the state of Pennsylvania over Independence Day Weekend.

CRA will co-sanction the 200-lap, $20,000-to-win event with the CARS Tour on July 4. There will also be a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event as part of the program that weekend.

On Monday, July 13 the series returns to Anderson Speedway for the famed Redbud 400. The event returned to a Monday event in 2018 and will be held the Monday after the NASCAR Cup Series event at Kentucky Speedway.

The series will head back to Kalamazoo Speedway located just outside of Kalamazoo, Mich., for a special Wednesday night event on Aug. 5. More details on this event will be released at a later date.

The series will stay in Michigan for the $20,000 to win Battle at Berlin 251 event on Aug. 15 at Berlin Raceway. That event will once again be a combo event for the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the Berlin Raceway super late models.

The event will be the first Chase event for the ARCA/CRA Super Series.

The series will then make its first of two visits to the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway located in Winchester, Ind., for the traditional World Stock Car Festival over Labor Day Weekend, with the feature event on Monday, Sept. 7.

That race will be the second Chase event.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series will then visit Toledo Speedway on Sept. 19 for a $5,000-to-win, 100-lap event as part of the famed Glass City 200, which will also include a 100 lap event for the outlaw-bodied ARCA Late Models.

The Toledo event will be the third Chase event for the ARCA/CRA field.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series will crown its 2020 champion with the 49th running of the Winchester 400 on Oct. 11, in its second visit of the season to Winchester Speedway.

The series will also be part of the famed All American 400 weekend at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville on Sunday, Nov. 1.

The event be a co-sanctioned non-points race alongside the Southern Super Series and the CARS Tour.
